Embark on an unforgettable 3 Days Orangutan Trekking Adventure in Sumatra, exploring the deep rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park. 🗓️ Day 1 – Jungle Trekking & Riverside Camping

After breakfast at 09:00 AM, our certified English-speaking guides from Sumatra Rainforest will meet you at your hotel in Bukit Lawang. We then set off for a 6–7 hour trek into the jungle, where you may be fortunate enough to spot orangutans, Thomas leaf monkeys, gibbons, and long-tailed macaques.

During the trek, we will pause for lunch with fresh tropical fruits. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to a riverside campsite. Here, you can relax, swim in the refreshing river, or simply enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. Our team will provide complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks.

As the day ends, we prepare a delicious dinner, which may include rice, vegetables, chicken, tempeh, chili sauce, and more. After dinner, enjoy a fun group activity before resting for the night.

🗓️ Day 2 – Wildlife Exploration & Jungle Camping

After a fresh breakfast, we continue our trek into the jungle, learning about the rainforest ecosystem, medicinal plants, and the behavior of orangutans. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to spot more wildlife, including gibbons, monkeys, and a variety of exotic animals.

After a hearty lunch, we continue trekking to our next campsite, located at the edge of Bohorok River. Here, you can swim, fish, or relax by the riverbank. In the evening, our team will prepare a bonfire (weather permitting), and the guides will entertain you with jungle skills, games, and songs.

🗓️ Day 3 – Jungle Relaxation & Tube Rafting

On the final day, we can either take a short jungle walk or relax at the camp, swimming in the cool Bohorok River and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding jungle. After lunch, we will begin our journey back to Bukit Lawang.

You have the option to tube raft downstream on the Bohorok River, a fun and relaxing way to return to the village. The tube rafting will take you directly to your hotel.
