One Day Orangutan Trekking & Transfer Medan to Bukit Lawang (2D/1N)

Day 1 – Medan Airport / Hotel → Bukit Lawang

Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO) or your Medan hotel, our driver will transfer you to Bukit Lawang. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours, passing through Binjai and Kuala villages.

Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure; you can explore the nearby village or relax by the river.

Day 2 – One Day Orangutan Jungle Trekking

After breakfast at 09:00 AM, our guide from Sumatra Rainforest will greet you at the hotel.
We will embark on a 6-7 hour trek in Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the best places to spot wild Sumatran orangutans.

On the trek, you may also see:

• Thomas leaf monkeys

• Gibbons

• Long-tailed macaques

• Other jungle wildlife

We’ll take a break for a lunch of fresh fruits. Afterward, we will continue the trek before returning to Bukit Lawang via traditional tube rafting along the Bohorok River.

After packing, we will transfer you back to Medan Airport (KNO) or your Medan hotel.
